Who- Google

 

 

 

What- Google unveiled new YouTube today on Google's blog. YouTube's new homepage will have new features. One new feature is that the video is at the top of the page. Also the social actions options and the video information can be viewed below the player. Also playlists can be viewed while the video is playing. These are just some of the new features on the new YouTube home page.

 

 

 

How- Google developed these changes to make it easier for the user to navigate through the website.

1. Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them- No, some sites were hard to find RSS feeds.
2. Which sites were your favorites?- NY Knicks and FBI.
3. What else can you use RSS feeds for?- You can also use them to find news on other websites.
4. How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?- After doing this project, I think I might use RSS feeds now.
5. Why did you select the sites you subscribed to- I selected these sites because these are some things that I am intrested in.

Who- T-Mobile USA 

What- T-Mobile USA may soon carry the Apple iPhone according to sources.

How- The only way to get an iPhone with T-Mobile is to insert a nano sim card into the iPhone and this will bring T-Mobile signal to the phone.

Why- T-Mobile wants to be known as an iPhone carrier, even if they do not sell many iPhones.

What- Audi unveiled a new electric car called the A3 e-tron. This new car has an electric engine. This car also has a battery pack in the center of the car and in the rear of the car.

Why- This car is eco-friendly car. It does not pollute the earth.

How- This car is a prototype.

Who-Microsoft

What- Microsoft releasing a new Surface tablet with Windows 8 Pro.

How- Microsoft will release the new Surface tablet in January 2013.

Why- This new Surface tablet will be running Windows 8 Pro which is a much better software than Windows RT, which is running on the most recent released Surface tablet.

Opinion- I think this a great tablet but it also acts like a computer with its keyboard.

Sony to Offer Slimmer,Lighter PS3 Home-Video Game Console

 

        Sony Corporation released a new lighter and slimmer PS3 in Tokoyo.  Sony plans to release this console ahead of the holidays.  This console will be on sale starting October 30th in North America.  This console will be an upgrade from the maximum 320 gb hardrive for the old model to the maximum 500 gb on the new model.  This new console comes in black or white.  The new white model only comes with a 250 gb hardrive.  Sony also released 2 new colors for the PSP Vita.  The new colors will only be available only in Japan.  Sony hopes this new PS3 console will boost the sales of the company as its sales have declined in the past year.
